 Myth Three:

Mold is easily cleanable.  FALSE.  I find this to be one of the more dangerous myths out there.  Mold MUST be remediated and cleaned out by a certified mold remediation expert.  Please do not try to do this alone with some bleach and towel.  Mold cannot and should not be removed by the individual who can easily make the issue worse and expose themselves and their environment to more mold spores than they intended to.  Remediation is a careful multistep process that must be completed by a certified professional. Make sure to hire a reputable remediation specialist.

Myth Four:

Mold is only dangerous when it exists in an older building. FALSE. Mold can and does exist in new developments.  If you are aware that you suffer from mold sensitivity I highly suggest testing any environment you or your loved ones plan to live in prior to moving.  It is a worthy investment for your health and wellbeing.

Myth Five:

Everyone exposed to mold will suffer a similar effect. FALSE. Some people will suffer similar effects from toxic mold exposure, some will be on a spectrum of different symptoms and some will not have any symptoms at all.  It is imperative to work with an experienced professional who understands toxic mold exposure.  We are one holistic being that are all different and just like many other toxic exposures, this exists on a gradient.
